How about this...
Why not put a past champion on the cover? I’m a Dale Jr fan but I don’t understand why Junior was on NASCAR Thunder 2003’s cover. Put 03’s champ Matt Kenseth or 04’s champ Kurt Busch or even 2000’s champ Bobby Labonte on the 2009 cover. Hey, I know! Let’s just put a regular driver back on the cover. Somebody like Denny Hamlin or Kyle Busch or Carl Edwards or Jamie McMurray.

Who will get on the cover?
I’d like to see someone outside the Big 4 – Junior, Gordon, Johnson, and Stewart – make it onto the cover, kind of like how Elliott Sadler was on the cover for 07. Onthecountry mentioned Carl Edwards; he’d be a good candidate if he no longer has that contract dispute with EASports. I also like the idea of Bobby Labonte. Personally, I’ll take somebody who’s never been on the cover before: Kurt or Kyle Busch, Denny Hamlin, Matt Kenseth, Martin Truex, Jr., Ryan Newman…but let’s get real. Junior is in a new car with a new sponsor this year. You can bet that EASports will want him on the cover. Besides, he hasn’t been on the cover since 2003. Considering that Stewart was on the cover for both 2004 and 08, I guess it is Junior’s turn again. Yep. I’ve got my money on Junior.

Can't be a Hendrick car
I don’t like em, but that’s not why, Cuz I love Tony, but I’m not votin for him, cuz he was on there last year. But, Gordon’s been on 2, like Tony, Johnson was on there with Gordon two years ago… I think some smaller guys should get their face on. Oh, Truex is another one.

I’d like to see Kyle Busch, or maybe Carl Edwards (who wasn’t even in the last game?!?). I’d really like to see one of the guys who doesn’t get a lot of attention, like elliot sadler a couple of years ago. Maybe Greg Biffle or Jamie McMurray. Or not a Roush guy. Maybe OOH, Clint Bowyer, or,OH, here’s an Idea: NASCAR 09: Legends of NASCAR- with a Cover that has Dale Sr. Standing right in front, with Richard Petty behind one side of him and DW or Junior Johnson or somebody behind the other side. And, And, in the Fight to the top mode (which was my favortie, they need to bring that back) You would start way back in 19 whosyourdosit at Daytona beach and drive until present day… It’d be great.
