First a congratulation to Matt Crafton for snapping his streak for the most starts without a win at Lowes Motor Speedway. Another thank you goes to Chad McCumbee for not making my pick look bad. (McCumbee finished 2nd)

Ron Hornaday no hard feeling with the incident with Kyle Busch, the wreck was identical to the Junior – Busch incident at Richmond. Although Kyle had the overall dominate car, that’s just racing. I think that the Black Flag on Johnny Benson was messed up. Explain to me what your thoughts were or are.

I liked Travis Kvapil, he is starting to look like he’s understanding every car he drives. Watch out for him in the rest of the season in all series. If he gets the opportunity to drive every race next year, he’ll be a threat for the Chase. I’m not too sure what his future holds for him but he should be an alternate in your fantasy picks. Tell me who you think has stepped it up to the next level.

I also think that Kyle Busch has learned to slow down when he has such a large lead to help save tires and fuel allowing others drivers to use everything they got when he’s using only 90-95% of his car. This enabling him to have more in the final leg of race, he showed his new patience during the Truck race at NC Lottery 200. Who this year has changed for the better?

Avoid those Fords next week at all costs the race is too long for them. They are still having too many issues with all parts of the car. The Ford organization needs a lot of help. Edwards – Biffle – Kenneth needs to push your team to fix these problems. If you can’t get them to hear, ask for the support of the fans. What team(s) do we need to watch out for good/bad)?

A good strategy for the Truck Series is a two tire change when low tire wear is apparent. And a four tire change when extreme tire wear is happening. Two tire change should only happen on bad tracks with 30 laps to go or when every driver just want to end the race.(i.e. long races or rain delayed races) What would your strategy be in the Truck Series?
