Future President?
Stewart seems like a perfect politician – lay down the law and then excempt yourself from it.

What??!!
I am not trying to change him, I just want him to take things like a man. He complains when drivers get into him, but when he does it, o well, its just hard driving!!

A little cheese with that whine?
Look, these are big boys. We are learning their personalities. Tony has a mouth and he’s not afraid to use it! Instead of complaining and trying to change him, learn to race him. It’s just like life; you can complain, get knocked out of the way and lose, whining about how unfair it all is, OR learn the game, do the knocking and win win win! I like Kevin, but just play the game dude. A certain #3 used to swap a little paint and cause a rift here and there, but he won! Go Tony! Keep racing your race!

This Is What I am Talking About Guy's!!!!!
This from NASCAR.com,
Harvick said he was “caught off-guard” by Stewart’s hard bump while racing side-by-side on Indy’s long back straight. The resulting damage to the left front fender of Harvick’s No. 29 Chevrolet cost him dearly, as he dropped all the way back to seventh place.
Stewart called Harvick “one of my friends” after the race, but what might have bothered Harvick most is Stewart’s insistence upon driver etiquette when he doesn’t always behave in similar fashion.
“If you’re going to preach it, you’ve got to back it,” Harvick said. “That’s the biggest thing. I can understand, he probably made a mistake, but when you’re on the receiving end …

Your right
It is just racing. Tony won. Harvick didn’t. That’s racing.

i just watched the race for the second time today and tony gave harvick the first hit and a good one.

Thanks for the Comments
I agree. It was a good race between the two, but I just hate when Tony complains about someone getting into him. He makes rude comments like, “they must have no talent” or “they need to learn how to drive”. That kind of stuff infuriates me about him. He is a good driver, but he needs to learn how to give and take. Harvick must have been ticked about something, or he would not have put such a slam on him after the race. Hard racing is great, but Tony should not be so quick to judge when someone rubs him. I think Harvick alluded to that fact in his interview on Speed.

One more thing
Like I said its the end of the race and two awesome drivers going head to head at one of the biggest races of the year, just having fun racing with each other. I think it was clean, to me its good racing. cars are not made perfectly for the corners or straight aways. the drivers are far from perfect. so there is going to be touching when your driving as hard as these two were. and i tell you what i can watch these two go at it all day long. GOOD DAMN RACE BOYS!

OK
Here it is, 20 laps left in Brickyard 400 nobody is giving anything to anyone! Everyone is take, take. Yeah Tony made a little contack in the turn, intentional or not, it was not that rough. But it got to Harvick and it got the best of him. He rammed his car into Tony, causing the side to cave in. Now we know Tony doesn’t have the self control he should but harvick does, and needed it to stay in a good finishing position. But he didn’t, he let Tony piss him off and he blew his head. The best finish he should have known he could get was 2nd. If Tony was there let him go, you know he has a monster of a car. why mess up good position trying. But what can you say good racing is what i call it. the bump may or may not have been intentional but harvick is better than that and needs to keep his cool for good finishes!

At the Race!
Let me first off state that I was at the race, and had a headset on listening in to the driver communications. Harvick wasn’t upset about how Stewart raced him, he didn’t have a car to hold on to 1st, or 2nd, or ect. He stated he was losing grip, and losing ground. Now if it was such a HUGE deal that Tony got into Harvick, wouldn’t ESPN, NASCAR.COM be all over it because of Stewart’s past. They’d be writing articles left and right about how he didn’t race Harvick cleanly. The only questionable behavior I saw was coming off of 2 when there was a little bit of contact between them door to door, but even Tony said after that he didn’t do it intentionally he just drove it out of 2 too hard, and ended up getting along side him. I didn’t see anything wrong with what happened, just two really good drivers driving their heart out for 10 laps!
