Well, the long-time-coming decision has been made. J.J. Yeley is no longer going to be driving for Gibbs next year (tear!). Where will he end up? What do you guys think?

Unfortunately, if JJ is out of a job at Gibbs racing, it is unlikely that any other team in Nextel Cup is going to pick him up. In a recent interview with JJ, he stated that if all else failed he would go back to USAC. I think he will also get Busch offers, if not with the 1 team he races for now, then with some other team. I wish JJ the best, it is a rough situation he is in.

Nice guys finish last
Every interview I have ever seen with him, he is positive and upbeat. He seems like a really nice guy. Unfortunatly, he has not been able to produce for a team that has always been better than it is now. He drove the 11 car before Denny and could not produce there either, so I’m afraid his future looks bleak. I don’t think he will end up in another top tier team.
