I dont know if it is just me but do people in your school sometimes call u a redneck or other things that have to do with NASCAR! At least 4 me when anything comes up that has to do with racing they all turn and look at me! I just wanted to hear if you guys go through the same thing and if u had any good comebacks!!

yeah i do all the time, but i come from a small town, and whenever someone calls me a redneck i proudly declare that I am one, becuase I take pride in it! and as for comebacks, if people make fun of nascar, just tell them that you enjoy watching people drive cars better and faster than they could ever dream of doing!

I don’t necessarily get picked on or called names, but a lot of girls look at me weird when I talk about NASCAR. (All girls catholic high school. Ugh! lol) I’ve actually made my friends sit down and watch it and two of them watch the races on Sundays when they can now. But they aren’t hugely into it, so I thought this crew would be cool to join. =]
Smokfan20- Where are you in Jersey? I live up north, near the Hudson- so there’s barely any NASCAR fans/things etc.

such a shame it is...
as with my brother… i apear to be the only one who has a love for nascar in our surrounding campus. it is a shame how people dont understand the sport as we do. my friends laugh in pitty when i reject them on a sunday afternoon to enjoy a race. if only they knew.. if someone ever says nascar is just cars going in circles ill i have to say to that is YO MAMA SO FAT SHE CANT EVEN FIT IN THE CAR, let alone make it move… (nothin personal just my attempt at a yo mama joke.. lol just kidden yah.)

I’m the only person in my grade maybe even my school that likes NASCAR. People always look at me when someone says something about racing. Once in a while i might get teased, even though i think there mostly joking. Everyone says its just people going in circles and they they think they could easily do it. Thats why i made this crew, to talk to people my age that like nascar.
