Come on now people….(those that think Jr is overrated, gets to much publicity, and is in the shadows of Martin Jr) Look at the bloodline. Look at the struggles Ralph and the late Sr had to overcome before they became NASCAR Legends. Its only fitting that the shadows lurk wherever Jr is at. Whether it be D.E.I or Hendrick, or Childress or Gibbs, or Wood Bros., the shadows will always be there. But like so many other times, Jr is to damn fast for them to stay around. He’s headed to the top, maybe not a championship next year, but soon, yes very soon. The man was plagued this year, with media feeding like dogs on the failing relationship between Jr and Theresa, and the inconsistancy of engines, and the stress that went with it all… but 13th, with everything…not bad JR not bad at all. For us die hard Earnhardt fans, we’ll see it all, good times, bad times…. and to you band wagon jumpers…. better start collecting Jeff Gordon and the number 24 cuz he’s on his way to another championship in 07. As for me, good job you top 12, but I am citizen of Jr Nation and no matter what, win or lose, Those are the colors I’ll wear.
