Hi folks. I really wish I did not have to make a point of this, but Community Standards violations have reached an uncomfortable level. In particular, the “Any content or use that harasses or advocates harassment of another person” and the “Any content or use that interferes with another user’s use and enjoyment of the Service, or any other individual’s use and enjoyment of similar services” violation types are being seen OVER and OVER and OVER again.
Unfortunately, these types of violations have a self-feeding, snowballing nature…they are very hard to stop unless the violators themselves become aware of it, take responsibility and rise above it. I am asking any and all of you who are involved in any of these instances to just WALK AWAY from the problem. The Community will, one way or another, be a fun and SAFE place for anyone who participates in it. If that means we have to start banning Members for repeat violations, so be it.
With that being said, as of TODAY, we are implementing a “3 strikes” rule. If, after careful review, either myself or the moderators remove 3 pieces of your content from the site within any 7 day period, you’ll be banned indefintely. No questions asked. No whining either.

LINEDRIVES
I can live with that. Its just to bad that some that voice their opinion usually dont have a foot to stand on. And if they feel like they are getting aggravated then maybe it is best for them to move on. As far as negativity, that comes from ones own thinking. Nobody tells another person to think negative, unless that person feels that way. Anyways I’ve posted a blog LINEDRIVES, to our crew about our behavior and they all agree with what you are trying to do.

linedrives, keep telling yourself...
i love my job… i love my job… i love my job….lol. i will add that due to the “negativity” and people going on about how they are a bigger fan, longer fan, more informed fan, etc., i’ve started to post fewer comments. i don’t need the aggravation and i’m sure others are doing the same. this is a great concept and i’m sure the majority of people are well behaved and enjoy this site. it’s the few who seem to spoil the atmosphere for the rest of us. maybe your latest efforts will work.. keep trying… hang in there.. keep up the great job.

Legal
We are bound by the Community Standards because of LEGAL reasons. It has nothing to do with my opinion.

If I am provoked I will fire back. Now I am one of the more open members on here, and probably the most controversial. After all this is an open forum. Community blogs. Now I understand that it has gotten somewhat out of hand, but what I feel that you are trying to do is have us act like puppets. Iv’e been around racing a lot longer then most of the members in here. Now In not putting anyone down, but its like telling your kids that only what you says matters. Without us members there would be no Nascar.com. Maybe you should have a suggestion type of blog or box where we as the community can voice our opinions, and be responded to instead of just letting it go at what you feel is right. After all this is a free country with freedom of speech and I feel that we all should have some kind of a say-so.

I also
edited my last comment I really wasn’t trying to point a finger. I was just saying I lowered myself level that was just wrong and the comment was a clue to leave well enough alone.

clarification
Sorry I was not clear with my last comment…here is what I meant: Pointing fingers in your comments, even when not citing explicit Member names, will only fuel the fire that we are trying to put out here.
