Well, the curse of old tires has struck again. Tonight in the Busch race, Clint was running a great race. He led most of it, but started to fall back when there were around 80 laps to go. In order to make up 4 spots, he took fuel only, while Edwards took fuel and tires. Guess what happened…Carl caught him with 20 laps to go and ended up taking the checkers. 2nd place isn’t a bad finish and I know Clint just races to Busch series for sun, but I can’t believe he would fall into that same trap.
