Clint positioned himself, perfectly tonight to win this race. All night, he and his crew were able to get his car from the 31st starting spot (the product of a mistake in qualifying) to 3rd, behind Kyle and Jr. I am sure Gil told Clint to stay on thier bumper because they were going to race hard into the corners, and he was right. Their little union allowed Clint to sneak in underneath for the lead. On the restart, it looked like Kyle was going to gain on Clint going into 1, but Mark Martin saved the day by occupying Kyle for the rest of the race. Congratulations to Clint, Gil, and the rest of the 07 crew! All of the hard work paid off and now Clint is only 1 of 8 drivers to win Richmond from outside the top 10.
Oh yeah, does anyone else find it funny that not only did the Crown Royal driver wreck out of his own race, but that the Jack Daniels driver won it?
