What car maker is the denominating factor in the 2008 season,I blogged a few days ago about the Toyotas being the one,I was told by other fans that the Toy’s were not dominate,But after carefull reading of stats I have found that my Statement is true,not only is the Toyotas dominate but they have an incredbile amout of victories through out the 3 series in Nascar;
Sprint cup victories by maker as of last race=
1.6 Toyota
2.4 Dodge
3.4 Chevy
4.3 Ford
N.N.S.=
1.11 Toyota
2.0 Dodge
3.4 Chevy
4.2 Ford
C.T.S=
1.5 Toyotas
2.1 Dodge
3.3 Chevy
4.1 Ford
This breaks down to=
22 wins Toyotas
5 wins Dodge
11 wins Chevy
6 wins Ford.
This is factual the Toyotas are a very dominating Maker for the 2008 season,go Toy go….

I agree
that the Toyotas are definately dominating, however I feel that it is the drivers that are in those cars that are making the Toyota’s do so well. Obviousely, some Toyota teams are doing better than others, so it can’t be the car itself although that is the common denominator in the equation. What good is a fast car if the driver doesn’t know how to drive? But yes, you are right. The toyotas are the dominators of NASCAR so far this season!

What a difference a year makes
Well said. Toyota is clearly dominant and this is why it took so long for them to get into NASCAR in the first place. The other car makers knew that Toyota engines are superior to Ford, Dodge, or Chevy. Thank you, Kyle Busch, for making history this year with the Toyota! 2008, unlike 2007, will be a year to remember. GO JGR!!
