It was nascar at first.
Originally, Masgrafx was shut down because they had NASCAR logos on the site and they had a donation box for people to help keep the site running. NASCAR mistakenly thought that they were using the NASCAR logos for profit, which of course they weren’t. MAS agreed to take down the logos, so the site stays up. As far as I know, Masgrafx is back up and I expect TRG to be back up soon too. Apparently their problem was a hacker eating up bandwidth, so they suspended the account for a while.
The homepage of masgrafx actually reads,
“We would like to thank our members and visitors for the growing popularity of MasGrafx Racing. I have good news to share with all of you. NASCAR has closed the case on the trademark infringement. We have removed their logos, and we will continue to work on a new site that should open before the Daytona 500.”

You sure NASCAR did it?
What proof do you have that NASCAR had anything to do with it? Based on a post over at Rubbin’s Racin’, it looks like it was an bandwidth issue with the webhost. Please don’t tell me that you saw the site go down and just automatically ASSumed that NASCAR had something to do with it…

im suprised they didnt flag this
they dont take criticizim at all cause thier perfect in thier minds . i like your point as long as they leave it up. but a couple things have to do with bad decicions 1 is you get so big you become unmanagable, regretable but it happens nobodys falt. 2 sometimes you get a person making the calls and they acually dont have a level head or good judgement< not nascars falt but the person perhaps needs moved else where. now dont let 1 jackasses judgement let it push YOU out of something i can tell you truely love .we have to stick together keep our sport great. and maybe you can write people to let them know an error may have been made address bottom of community standards.only we can change things. stay with us pal, dont leave!
