i geuss everyone believes in the cliche’ anything can happen, but not when there is a point system that non one understands. are all of you nascar fans going to tell me how points are distributed? i dont think so. do you keep track of how many times 43 drivers pass someone, or get passed, or get passed in the pits; which is a stupid rule to begin with, or lose positions throughout a race, because if you do then you get to see way more than i do. tv only covers so much of a race; and i know that by saying that people will say— go to the race—-but on a 2.5 mile track— how much do you really actually see— not much— tv actually shows the viewer more than actually being at a race— thats fact. all i was ever trying to get across is changes need to be made. c’mon we knew who was going to win the championship 3 weeks ago, be honest. carl edwards statiscally had a chance, but not realistically. something has to be done, to make it a fight to the last lap, like in the old days—- and im not that old. more of a nail biter. jimmie johnson did nothing throughout the season, but carl edwards did, wasnt the whole concept for the chase to reward those that excelled during the regular season. not consistency? but consistency prevailed anyway. its a crock, and anyone that actually looks from the outside in, will see the same senario. that points in racing doenst work. change change change—- the spine
