I was watching the race for Texas, andthey were showing a replay of one of Jimmy Johnson’s pitstops, and Chad Knaus slipped and cussed during the airring of the replay. He had the oops that Dale Earnhardt Jr did at Bristol a couple seasons back and was penalized 50pts, and 100k. I am curious, is the going to fall back on Johnson meaning that NASCAR said begging of season" all infractions pertaining to, during, and aftger the race, will result as a team effort "Its only fair for Knaus to be penalized since the incident did accure was " on the air " when it happened. Should be no different cause he is a Crew Cheif. I am just curious

That's why
there is supposed to be a five second delay with live tv. Someone is paid to monitor and prevent it from getting on the air.

Radio Traffic
is private. It is the Network’s responsibility to censor radio traffic before airing it on TV.

To penalize Chad for swearing when that is an intense time and he had no clue they would pull that clip of audio to air would be unfair. Plus it wasn’t excess swearing – I think he’s okay.
