Watching CBS SPORTS on Sunday with my DAD and Ken Squier. Rooting for the Allisons, and Buddy Baker. Actually sitting in two show cars, the #20 at a Home Depot and Biff’s old #16 National Guard at the state fair. Pretty lame, huh?!

Not to say that I am older than dirt, but my next door neighbor was the guy who invented the wheel and his brother invented the simplest tool known to man – the Wedge!
I am fascinated by NASCAR as a slice of the American Dream. There is no greater freedom than having a driver’s license, (it comes with an awesome responsibility, kids!), and the dream that the open road brings real adventure. With racing I have learned how to stay truely in the moment, not regretting the past, nor fearful of the future.
I have yet to meet anyone who says that they themselves are not better than average as a driver, and this community confirms it.
My Truths: Live, Love, Eat, and Laugh often. Make every day count. Luck is where opportunity and preparation meet. There is room for everyone in the backseat of a ‘62 Buick.
