Most memorable NASCAR moment(s):
Watching Dale Earnhardt and Bobby Labonte and some young driver race 3 wide around Richmond for 3 laps This was in ‘97 or ‘98 and you couldn’t race 3 wide at Richmond for a half lap, but Earnhardt did it for 3 laps on the OUTSIDE.
Profile:
I was a Rusty Wallace fan til he retired. I started rooting for Rusty in 1984 when he won Rookie of the year honors. I had been a Richard Petty fan, but The King had stopped being competitive, so I went looking for a new driver. I watched the 2005 season with an eye for a new driver, and considered quite a few. When I saw Denny Hamlin race in those last 7 races of 2005 my mind was made up. I wanted a young hard charging driver, that wasn’t smooth and polished, nor did I really want to jump on the band wagon of an established driver. I root for one driver, not a team or a maufacturer. I like Fords, and I won’t wish any bad luck on Tony or Kyle, unless they are racing Denny for the win.
