Profile:
I have always been a fan of racing. My first experience as a kid in the 60’s was going to hard top (open wheel) races on Friday nights. In high school, in the 70’s, it was drag racing through the summers, where I met Don the snake Prudhomme and other funny car drivers in their earliy years. The only formula one race I watch is the Indianpolis 500 each year. Nascar has been my favorite, from Allison and Yarborough, Richard Petty in his STP 43, Darrell Waltrip in the Mountain Dew car, Bill Elliot in his Coors car and of course Dale Earnhart. And Jeff Gordon to the present. I enjoy it even more now.
Other interests:
I would attend more Nascar races if I lived near a track. We would really like to camp in the infield of one in our RV. I have learned to like fishing again now that I have my grandsons. I love forests and streams. I can’t stay out of the ocean. If I stand on the beach to long I will eventually end up in the surf.
