In April 2008 I witnessed Tony Stewart get his first Nationwide win at Talladega….but the best was yet to come…
October 2008- Amp Energy 500…My mother flew down to go to the race with me. Before the race she made a sign that said “Dega win for Smoke, October 5th, 2008” she held it proud during the Speed Channel taping. She wanted to return the sign to the car, but I said no I’d carry it. The last few laps of the race, I’m pacing, praying, crying, shaking…mama gets the sign out on the last lap and we’re excited…until he gets passed…but we didn’t know at the time that he was passed BELOW THE YELLOW LINE!!! When the guys behind us confirmed that Tony did win, we went crazy!!! It was an amazing experience!
We had met Tony the day before at the Bass Pro Shop. It was my 2nd time meeting him and mama’s first. I’ll never forget that weekend!!

I am a huge Tony Stewart fan. I attended my first race in October 2007, the Talladega UAW Ford 500. It was amazing!!! I am now fully addicted and plan to go to as many races as I can possibly manage!
