I was watching the race February 18, 2001 when Dale Sr. lost his life. It’s the only race I’ve ever watched, sadly. Couldn’t watch again after that.

Hey Mac,
If you really want to learn about racing, get involved. If you live near a track call them and talk to them. Talk to everyone!! Go to the races and if you see someone doing what you want to do, talk to them and ask them how they got involved. Get a scanner and don’t listen to the individual cars, listen to Nascar you will learn so much more on that channel than you ever will on TV.
If all else fails join the Sports Car Club of America. They will teach how to become an official. No you don’t have to have a sports car.
Ever notice how winners and whiners are so closely spelt and how winners never whine and whiners never win. The real whiners are usually the ones who are calling everyone else whiners. It’s just another unfortunate part of racing. The best part is we pretty much all know who we are. It doesn’t really bother me anymore.

my. comments on your page messages are the best way. I am not always online to this site even though it shows. I keep on desktop and check once in awhile I had trouble till I learned the ropes the my profile on the dashboard should betitled my page so that would eliminate confusion but that is where you should start and redo every so often
