Michigan August 2007
going to the track Saturday-Tuesday trying to see the race that kept getting rained out. Getting poured on and drinking large amounts of beer each day!

Michigan 2005
Getting security called on us for asking the guy running an unnamed driver’s merchandise trailer if the bedsheets came with [/] already in them because that driver’s a bed wetter… I had to much whiskey which also had something to do with security getting called.

Talladega 2004
The jeep that backed up right over a campfire for 10 seconds and then after everyone yelled “You’re over a campfire” he backs up 20 feet right over another campfire!! “Dude you’re over ANOTHER campfire!”

Night before busch race the thunderstorm that blew over/wiped out our tents and forced me to sleep in the truck and my buddies sleeping in 2 inches of water. We got some good weather for the the Nextel race though.

I’m Dan. From Michigan. I’ve been a race fan since I can remember. I started watching indy cars at MIS and Belle Isle, MI when I was a little dude, and eventually became a huge NASCAR fan.

My fav driver is Stewart. Not only is he a bad ass- the guy can drive. He can talk a lot but backs up everything he says with 100% skill.

The tracks I like are the ones I’ve been to- actually I’ll probably like any track I go to. They are Michigan, Las Vegas and Talladega.

Among my friends and family there are few TRUE NASCAR fans. Hopefully I’ll meet a few on this thing. If you live in a town like mine you’ll catch a lot of crap for being one, and one of my favorite things is to be a proud fan of the sport no matter what anyone says. I do have some close friends and siblings who are fans- and theres nothin better than watching/going to a race with them or calling them up talking some trash!

The last race I went to was with my sister and a bunch of her friends to the Aug race at Michigan. It got rained out Sunday so I tried again Monday and more rain so a couple of my boys and I went on Tuesday for a 10am race!
