My husband and I were fortunate to see Dale Earnhardt win the Daytona 500 in person in 1998 and on top of that, Dale signed my race ticket. I also had the pleasure of meeting Richard Petty in Daytona. I have also met, Dale Jr., Kevin Harvick, Tony Stewart, Ryan Newman, Martin Truex Jr., Kasey Kahne, Sterling Marlin, Greg Biffle, Matt Kenseth, Kenny Wallace, Ken Schrader, Jamie McMurray, Bobby Hamilton, larry McReynolds, Jeff Hammond, Scott Riggs and Joe Mihalic.

Grew up watching the dirt races at local tracks. My brother-in-law raced in the 1970’s and made it into the Winston Cups series and ran many races. His name is Joe Mihalic. His best finishes were 7th at Bristol (got knocked back to 9th for a small infraction) and finished 8th at Tallageda. I live in a small town in Pennsylvania and help out a local driver. I owned a Nascar store for 8 years. I am now retired and try to go to as many races as I can. I am now the old age of 57. I also had the great pleasure of meeting Richard Petty, my brother-in-law arranged the meeting and I have never met a man so gracious. All the drivers should treat the fans as he does. He is a wonderful person. I belong to two fantasy race leagues this year. One is going well, the other is not. Love the sport. Everyone around my neck of the woods is a Steeler fan, I like them but will take a race anytime.

I was a wedding and sports photographer for over 20 years. I have some great photos of the Super Bowl Steelers, the Pittsburgh Penguins and quite a few Nascar photos.
