I’ve been a NASCAR fan since I was 11 years old when my mother turned on the Daytona 500 and said we were watching NASCAR that year (she’ll watch anything that’s on the cover of a TV Guide). Since then, I’ve been hooked. Of course, that’s no big surprise since while growing up my favorite cartoon was Speed Racer.

Aside from being glued to the TV every Sunday afternoon or Saturday night from February to November, my main hobbies are writing fiction and playing NASCAR games. I drop by nascar.com every day to see what the latest news in NASCAR is. The Power Rankings are my personal favorite. I do all of this in spite of attending the University of Toledo (GO ROCKETS!), where I am majoring in both Secondary Education and English. What can I say? I’m a procrastinator.

So, in other words, I live, eat, sleep, and breathe NASCAR. That’s me in a nutshell.
