1992 WINSTON at chrlotte motorspeedway- first race under the lights, petty farewell tour, my first race in charlotte, finish between d.allison and k.petty….allison didn’t even know he won for two days after the crash across the finish line

i am a fan of racing. anykind of racing. i don’t get to much into being a crazy fan of one driver. (earnhardt fans showed me how its not a good thing) i just love the sport and sometimes don’t understand how people can forget about what it means to race, and get all wrapped up into what happens to there driver. i have been to races where gordon, earnhardt, johnson or wallace crash, and the fans start to leave like the race is over.
