Atlanta, age 13. My dad told me to tell them I was twelve, so I could get the child ticket price in the infeld. I did not comply. My Dad was so drunk, he didn’t know who won the race because he was in the bathroom when the checkered flag fell. It was the first win for Chevrolet in many years and he is a big Chevy fan!

Atlanta. I was 15. Me, my Dad and my Adult cousin and my friend camped out in the infield in turns 3 & 4 in an old bread truck turned RV. It rained all night long. The next morning there was a giant mud puddle in front of our camper and people were skiing through it pulled by a jeep. I don’t remember who won.

Rusty geting spun out by Gordon and coming all the way back from last to win at Richmond. (I think his spin was the only caution that day)

Grew up in Southeast Georgia listening to the races on the radio before they were on TV. (Usually in my Dad’s car at my Grandparents house)

Live in Chesterfield County Virginia, Denny Hamlin’s home town. I have been to almost every race in Richmond since I moved here in 1988. Half of those were free tickets from business partners, Woo Hoo!
