Most memorable NASCAR moment(s):

As a kid growing up I was a fortunate one. I was raised with the younger generation drivers of today. We use to slide down the steep backs of the banked tracks that were muddy on trash bags like sleds in the snow as our Fathers were waiting for the red flag to lift and to go back to green flag racing. You can’t do that anymore. **_Jr. knows what I’m talking about wink.png _ I’ve cooked out with the Boyer’s and personally took Mike Helton is lunch after laughing and cracking some old jokes at Harvick. (Who I’d been crushing on for about 10 years). I’ve hung out with the Childress clan quite a bit. I have a picture of me sitting on Richard’s lap wearing his cowboy hat after Harvick’s win at Texas in 2007. I will say that taking the ride around the track at 160-180 in a pack of 10, screaming at the top of your lungs (vulgarities) as you are being recorded on the dash is pretty priceless! Other than that, I’d have to say the ultimate as a “fan” was meeting my favorite driver; Jimmie Johnson.

Profile:

I grew up in the circuit. I’ve known drivers such as Tony Raines, Chad Blunt, David Stremme, Rick Dillon (Dillon Racing Enterprise), Troy Sweet (Sweet Mfgt) since childhood. My dad was Mark Martin’s crew chief in the ASA series in the 80’s. He was once a driver until an accident outside the track lead him to building chassis and his own enterprise. My brother is following in his foot steps to this day. They work together building late models and helping young drivers get a start in the spot light on local tracks in the Midwest. Racing isn’t just a sport to me, it’s my way of Life. To me, there’s no natural adrenaline other than racing! I am a sports advocate. I work in sports marketing and advertising. I do a lot of traveling, not just with NASCAR but with other sports as well.

Other interests:
