My Dad and I are taking a father/daughter trip to Talladega this April…I’m sure it will be an experience that tops my list.

MEARS, MEARS, MEARS!! Going to be a great year for the 5 car!!!
I live in Coronado California (San Diego)and spend most of my free time boating, going to the beach, watching NASCAR (of course!)and playing with my dog Dixie. I’m originally from Fresno, CA and enjoy going home often to visit my friends and family.
I grew up with NASCAR on TV EVERY weekend. I was not a fan! In college, I’d get up and leave early on Sunday morning when visiting my parents so that I wouldn’t have to watch NASCAR with my dad. Inevitably, my Dad rubbed off on me after all and I became a serious fan about four years ago.
Each member of my family follows a different driver and come race day, we hate on each other big time! When the 20 car wins I get a phone call within 5 minutes of the checkered flag….it’s my Mom saying “how do you like THAT!!!???” Anyway, that’s a little bit about how and why I became a fan.
I’m a Fresno State Alum…GO DOGS! I try to get up to Fresno for a football game when ever I can. Other than that I don’t really follow sports other than NASCAR.
I follow the 5, 9, 17, and the 48 since he represents San Diego. My favorite of course is the 5, although seeing him in THAT car is going to take some getting used to…considering I’m used to swearing under my breath every time I see it!!! I’ll get used to it in no time!

Boating, spending time with family and friends, running, and listening to music (I am NEVER without my ipod!)
