Profile:

Raised literally in a Chrysler, Plymouth, Dodge dealership in a small town in North Mississippi. My mom actually owned the dealership herself, my dad was a MD an let her do as she wished, LOL and she did. I was indoctrinated into the automobile business at a very young age. I was a certified mechanic before I left high school and was racing dirt stock cars before I could drive legally on the highway. Mom wasn’t very keen on that and after I got my drivers license she got me interested in drag racing and away from stock cars. I drover the dealership NHRA Stocker and Super Stocker until we finally sold the business in 1975. At that time I join the Army and moved away from cars for a bit. After my hitch I started working in the recording industry, but the call of competition still called. I drove SCCA sports cars and keep my fingers into the mechanical aspects. I left the music industry and came home to care for my dad before he died and started working for a local TV station and Sheriff’s Department. I also began building engines for some of the local racers in the area. That eventually developed in an engine building business that I finally retired from a few years ago. I am now do truck brokering which takes up most of my time.
