Have to add Oct 21, 2007…Jimmie wins his 3rd straight in Martinsville, with Newman and Gordon, nipping at his heels!

_I’m a married, mother of three beautiful children. The five of us cheer for our drivers every week. Well not so much the baby, but I’m sure he will when he’s old enough to!

I first became interested in racing last year when my husband and children sat down to watch the Daytona 500. The kids were 2 and a half and 4 at the time, and I was amazed that they were actually sitting and watching the race. I had been looking for an activity to do as a family, something we were all interested in and decided to give it a try. My son cheers for the orange car, (he’s since learned that this is Tony Stewart), and asked me which car I was cheering for. I picked the blue car, and the Lowe’s 48 was the first blue car I saw. Of course he went on to win that race and then the championship. I picked a great driver and a great year to interest myself in Nascar racing. I’m now an addict, an even bigger fan than my husband. I’m on the website daily to keep up with the goings on. December and January have turned into very long months!
